What is an AI Mode tracker?
An AI Mode tracker checks whether Google AI Mode mentions your brand when people search for what you offer. Local Falcon runs your search from many points across your market, records whether AI Mode names you at each one, and shows your Share of AI Voice, the full answer at every point, the sources AI Mode cited, and the competitors it recommended.
How often should I track AI Mode?
AI answers change over time and can vary from one search to the next, so one scan is a snapshot. Scheduling AI Mode scans with Campaigns and watching the Trend Report shows whether your Share of AI Voice is really moving, and whether the changes you make are working.
What's the difference between Google AI Mode and AI Overviews?
AI Overviews are the AI summary at the top of regular Google results, and they only show for some searches. AI Mode is a separate, conversational search mode where people ask a question and follow up, and the whole result is an AI-written answer. The two can recommend different brands for the same search, so Local Falcon tracks them separately.
Why isn't my brand showing up in AI Mode?
AI Mode builds its answers from sources across the web, like your website, review sites, directories, and articles that mention you. If competitors are better represented in those sources, AI Mode is more likely to recommend them. Check the sources cited in your scan to see where AI Mode is looking, and where your brand is missing.
How does Local Falcon track Google AI Mode?
You choose a keyword, a location, and a grid size from 3x3 (9 points) up to 21x21 (441 points). Local Falcon runs a separate AI Mode search from each point and records whether your brand is mentioned. Your Share of AI Voice (SAIV) is the percentage of points where AI Mode mentions you.
