The Ranking Pin did not go up to 20+
In these cases, the scan stops because the Google API did not deliver more businesses than the number indicated. Some searches do not have 20 business listings to display as a result, so the list will be shorter. If the target business is not found in that shortened list, it will display the position it stopped finding results.
The scan is showing no result (20+) but that does not make sense
There are millions of businesses with all kinds different variables and although we have done our best to accommodate the majority of them, there will always be some that don't fit the mold for whatever (technical) reason.
As always, we appreciate your continued use, and if you have any questions feel free to contact us at account [at] localfalcon.com.
The Business Name autofill field does not find my business
This is a restriction imposed by Google and there is no work around. Google does not let us localize a business that is hiding its address. This is a setting within the Google My Business dashboard that the owner sets within the listing. Unless Google changes the information delivered through its API, our tool will be unable to scan a business with a hidden address.
The scan has different color Ranking Pins seemingly at random
Normally the best ranking position should be at the location at the business and then the numbered positions should get higher as you radiate away from the center.
If you see a scan that is very jumpy or ranks better further away from the center point, this can indicate an error and we would be happy to take a look at the specific search. In general however, we only return results that are provided by Google.
