Local Falcon's Gemini visibility tracking lets you measure how often your business is mentioned in local recommendations generated by Google's Gemini AI. Because Gemini increasingly influences how users discover local businesses across Google's AI ecosystem, monitoring your presence here is essential for staying competitive everywhere that potential customers are searching.

Running a Scan for Gemini Visibility

1. Log in to your Local Falcon account

Visit localfalcon.com and sign in to your dashboard.

2. Go to "Quick Scan"

Quick Scans let you run on-demand Gemini visibility checks across your area.

3. Select "Gemini" from the data source menu

Use the drop-down in the upper left of the map interface to choose your scan data source.

4. Choose your business location

Select a saved location or import a new one.

5. Add natural, local-intent keywords

Gemini responds best to clear, conversational questions.

Examples:

  • "Which HVAC companies in [Neighborhood] offer same-day service?"

  • "Who are the best pediatric dentists near downtown [City]?"

  • "Where can I get affordable landscaping in [City]?"

  • "What restaurants have gluten-free options in [Neighborhood]?"

Tip: Choose from the suggested keywords list or do some keyword research with the Local Keyword Tool to generate a list of Gemini-style search queries to get started.

6. Adjust scan settings (optional)

Set your grid size and radius to control how widely Local Falcon tests Gemini results.

7. Click "Run Scan"

Local Falcon will generate a full Gemini visibility report, including competitor mentions, source analysis, and ranking metrics.

Reading a Gemini Scan Report

Gemini reports include four main components:

Gemini Visibility Metrics

You'll see key metrics at the top of your report:

  • ARP (Average Rank Position) — Your average position only where Gemini mentioned you.

  • ATRP (Average Total Rank Position) — Your ranking averaged across all grid points.

  • SAIV (Share of AI Voice) — How frequently Gemini included your business when brand mentions appeared in AI responses.

These provide a quick overview of how strongly Gemini is recommending your business.

Geo-Grid Scan Explorer

The interactive map visualizes where Gemini included your brand:

  • 🟢 Green pins: Your business was mentioned. Number inside = your position.

  • 🔴 Red pins: Gemini gave business recommendations but didn't include you.

  • 🚫 Gray symbols: Gemini did not produce a business result for that query.

Click any pin to view the full Gemini answer and all businesses mentioned.

Brands Mentioned

This section shows:

  • All businesses Gemini mentioned

  • ARP, ATRP, SAIV scores

  • Share of coverage

  • Total mentions across the scan grid
