How To Use the Local Falcon ChatGPT Plugin

Last updated on 10/19/2026, 3:06 PM

The Local Falcon plugin for ChatGPT brings your Local Falcon account into your ChatGPT conversations. Once it is connected, you can ask ChatGPT about your AI visibility and local search rankings in plain language, and it works with your Local Falcon data to answer. No switching tabs, no exporting reports, no digging through dashboards.

The plugin is built by Local Falcon and included on every plan. Setup takes about a minute: find the plugin in ChatGPT, sign in to your Local Falcon account, and approve access. Scans you run from ChatGPT use credits just like they do in the app. Reading reports and account data does not.

Adding the Local Falcon Plugin to ChatGPT

  1. Go to chatgpt.com and log in to your ChatGPT account.
  2. Click "Plugins" in the left-hand sidebar.
  3. Type "Local Falcon" into the search bar.
  4. Find the Local Falcon plugin from Local Falcon LLC, described as "AI visibility and local search," and click the "+" next to it.
  5. Sign in with your Local Falcon account. You can use your email and password, or "Sign in with Google" if that is how you normally log in to Local Falcon.
  6. Review the access request and click "Allow." It lists what the plugin can see, including your account details, your connected locations, and your scan history.
  7. You will see "Authorization Successful" and be sent back to ChatGPT, where a "Local Falcon plugin installed" message confirms you are connected. If you are not redirected automatically, click the link on the success screen.

Using the Local Falcon Plugin in ChatGPT

  1. Click "Try it" on the installed message, or start a new chat, type @ and choose Local Falcon, then ask a question or give a command about your AI visibility, local rankings, or Local Falcon account. Some examples to get you started:
    • "Show me how [business name] ranks on Gemini for [keyword]."
    • "What are the latest scan results for my main location?"
    • "Run a new ChatGPT scan for [business name] using the keyword [keyword]."
    • "How has my average ranking changed over the last 30 days?"
    • "Which of my locations are underperforming and why?"
  2. Keep the conversation going. ChatGPT keeps context for the whole chat, so you can ask follow-up questions, drill into specific locations or keywords, request more scans, and build on earlier answers. Mentioning specific competitors, target areas, or business goals helps ChatGPT tailor its analysis and recommendations to your situation.

When a scan finishes, ask ChatGPT to show you the results. The scan opens as an interactive geo-grid map right in the chat, and you can click any point to see who ranks there.

What You Can Do with the Plugin

The Local Falcon plugin gives ChatGPT access to a wide range of Local Falcon tools and data, including:

  • Viewing and analyzing scan reports for individual locations or across your entire account
  • Running new AI visibility and Google Maps scans on demand for any saved location and keyword
  • Reviewing trend reports to understand ranking changes over time
  • Performing competitive analysis to see how your locations compare to nearby businesses
  • Checking Falcon Guard monitoring reports for location-specific alerts
  • Accessing campaign reports and keyword performance summaries
  • Reviewing account information, credit balances, and subscription details
