Automating GBP posts with Falcon Agent is one of the top ways to use Local Falcon's built-in AI agent for local SEO. Whether you're managing one location or hundreds, you can schedule recurring GBP posts for each location, providing custom per-location instructions to ensure maximum relevance, personalization, and local SEO effectiveness.

Getting Started With GBP Post Automation

Just as with enabling automatic review responses via Falcon Agent, you'll need to ensure all the locations you want to automate GBP posts for are imported from a connected Google account that manages them.

To verify that your locations have been correctly imported from a connected Google account, simply head over to your Saved Locations and verify that your Google account's profile picture is displayed next to each pertinent location.

How To Automate GBP Posts With Falcon Agent

There are two ways you can schedule recurring GBP posts for your imported locations with Falcon Agent: directly from the chat (recommended) or from the Agent Settings page.

Option 1: Automating GBP Posts via Falcon Agent Chat

  1. Prompt Falcon Agent to start scheduling GBP posts
  2. Specify the target location(s) (one or many).
  3. Tell Falcon Agent what kind of post you want (promotion, service highlight, event, seasonal update, etc.) and the message style (tone, CTA yes or no).
  4. Set the schedule (for example, "every Tuesday at 9 AM" or "every 1st Monday monthly").
  5. Provide any required inputs (example text, offer details, link, and any "must include" or "must avoid" items).

In this chat, you describe the goal and cadence. Falcon Agent will configure the automation, confirm the final details with you, then start posting. You can later review or edit it in Agent Settings (the Activity log shows what ran).

Here's an example of a prompt you can use as a template to give Falcon Agent all the details it needs to start automating your GBP posts for one or more locations:

"Schedule GBP posts for [Location(s)]. Post type: [offer/topic]. Post content rules: [tone + CTA + must include/avoid]. Schedule: [day/time + timezone]. Start date: [date]."

Option 2: Automating GBP Posts From Agent Settings

  1. Go to Agent Settings (found in the Account page of your Local Falcon Dashboard)
  2. Click the "+ New Action" button in the Automated Actions section
  3. Name the automated action
  4. Set the posting schedule
  5. Write instructions from scratch or use the GBP post template as a base
  6. Choose what locations to apply the automation to (all or specific locations)
  7. Hit "Save"

The more specific your instructions are, the better.
